Now They're Beating Off Salmon?

A new eco-friendly plastic alternative made from salmon sperm and vegetable oil could help end plastic pollution. Scientists at Tianjin University developed the material, which they have coined 'hydrogel'. It uses two strands of DNA from salmon sperm and combines it with a chemical in vegetable oil to create a strong manufacturing material.
